Guillaume Garrié is a painter, sculptor and graphic designer, born in 1978 in Orléans, France.

His chaotic school career led him to join a Catholic school from his teenage years. It was during this time that he began to discover the work of religious icons. Force to reproduce them and understand their stories, he decides to rework them by incorporating more contemporary elements and typography which led him to an emerging current: graffiti.

At the end of the 90s, he chaired Pikante. An association which aims to promote contemporary urban art. At the same time, he freelance works as an illustrator-graphic designer.

In 2003, he co-founded the Wall Gallery in Orléans where he exhibited and exhibited the biggest names in the urban art scene.

During 2008, he left brushes aside to develop a more digital approach by focusing on graphics.

8 years later, he decides to go back to his basics. He returned full-time to the "Ulan Bator" studios he has held since 2002 to devote his work to painting. As the common thread of his work, he dismembers and exploits the human body to make it the raw material of his works. Fragments of brain, legs, arms, Guillaume Garrié brings to life a unique style, energetic, colorful and borrowed from a gentle poetic madness. There, he produced numerous pieces for galleries and international contemporary art fairs.

2018 is a gateway with work on sculpture and volume. He is self-taught in his workshop in plastiline, clay, with reproduction techniques in silicone molds and traditional plaster copings. He continued to learn polyester and polyurethane rotomolding at the Gorecki workshops. Bronze and brass followed, to quickly see his first pieces come out of the workshop. His madness for grandeur made him work on “monumental works” which gave rise to installations in Paris in the marshes, Beaubourg, Bastille…
